Objective: The right of equality among monks and nuns for monastic education had shown
in this documentary film. Nonviolently, the nuns have achieved the Geshema Degree(PhD) with the help of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
Program Update:
The session started with an introduction of Anec and it’s work, vision . Then the
documentary film was screened for about an hour. After the screening, we had ten minutes
discussion about our thoughts about the Documentary film and the most interesting part was many of us didn’t even know till we watched the movie that the nuns have also struggled with equality in religion. In this documentary, it has also shown the outcome of their hard work and the journey which was not easy.

Methodology:
• Introducing organization work and its vision while distributing the magazines and brochures among the participants.
• After the film was screened, the discussion with the participants on the documentary film
shows that they admire the film, hard work, the achievement. This film also
indicates a great example of practicing nonviolent movement.
Lessons Learned and Challenges Faced:
1. A great opportunity for interns to develop their communication and research skills and spreading awareness about nonviolence strategy and Tibet cause among the society.
2. There will be questions asked when you don’t know the answers however, don’t lose the
confidence and just simply answer, saying I don’t know but I will read it later.
