Ms. Tenzin Choezin
Executive Director
Tenzin Choezin has over 9 years’ experience in the field of training, counselling and administration. She has worked with the Central Tibetan Administration as the Head Consultant for Tibetan Career Centre and has also served in the non-governmental sector as the project officer of Central Tibetan Women’s Association.
Choezin has a Master’s in English literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University and is an alumnus of ‘Women’s leadership for community development’ program at the Coady institute, Canada. She is also a certified trainer for gender, entrepreneurship development, leadership development and holds expertise in giving training methodology to budding trainers. Project management, team building and soft skill development are also part of her portfolio.
Over 4000 people across schools, vocational institutes and organizations in Tibetan settlements in India have received her training and counselling services.
Mr. Tsering Sonam
Administrative Officer
Tsering Sonam, holding a Master’s degree in Political Science from St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore, has distinguished himself through academic excellence and leadership. During his tenure at the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress, he spearheaded a volunteer service group at Kalachakra, showcasing his commitment to community engagement.
His postgraduate thesis, analyzing the China-Tibet conflict through the lens of the Middle Way Approach, exemplifies his deep understanding of geopolitical complexities and commitment to peaceful resolution. Following this, he completed a three-month internship program and served as a Project Officer at ANEC, demonstrating exceptional competence and leadership.
Recognizing his outstanding performance, Tsering Sonam has recently been promoted to the role of Administrative Officer at ANEC, effective April 2024. In this capacity, he is poised to continue his impactful contributions to the organization’s mission and objectives.
Ms. Dolma Yangkyi
Dolma Yangkyi, a seasoned and accomplished librarian, exemplifies dedication through her extensive voluntary service of five months at TCV Gopalpur and a significant five-year tenure at Sakya Academy. During her tenure, she demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and leadership by successfully implementing a comprehensive library system, integrating advanced KOHA software to streamline operations and enhance accessibility to knowledge resources.
Her academic journey underscores a commitment to scholarly pursuit and professional development. She completed her undergraduate studies in History at Jesus and Mary College, followed by postgraduate studies in Library and Information Science at Delhi University, where she cultivated a profound understanding of library management principles and practices.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions and expertise, Dolma has recently assumed the prestigious role of Senior Project Officer at ANEC, commencing her tenure on March 1st, 2024. Her appointment underscores her proven track record of success and positions her to spearhead impactful projects and initiatives, furthering the organization’s mission and objectives with her exemplary leadership and vision.
