Specific Activity:
1. Ice breaking activity named “balloon race ” students formed two chain-line group and
raced to the finish line with balloons placed between each pair, moving together without
using hands to adjust the balloons.
2. Story telling of the book – “The little Book of Joy”
3. “ Story telling game “ In group of five , each group have to create and share an
imaginative story using five specific words, all centered around the theme joy.

Key Objectivity: To nurture compassion and joy in young minds through storytelling and
interactive learning.

Activity Overview:
A small Introduction for the kids about our organization and we began the session with a fun
ice – breaking activity called the balloon race, where students were divided into two groups and
each group formed a chain line, standing close together .
A balloon was placed between each pair in line. The challenge was for the entire group to move
forward together as a chain, racing towards the finishing line without using their hands or
adjusting the balloons.
The session flowed into a cozy storytelling moment, where we read from the little book of joy a
book that beautifully captured the spirit of friendship joy and compassion , student encouraged
to share what they learned from the story and were opened up with thoughtful and heartfelt
reflections.
To end on a creative note, we had storytelling game where student formed group of five and
were given five specific words. Their task was to create and present an original story centered
around the theme of joy using all five words. The activity sparked imagination and teamwork.

Methodology :
• Firstly, an ice breaking activity was conducted and it helps students to engage in the
session.
• Children love story telling, games and activities therefore , we combined three main
parts, play ,story telling and group reflection .
• All these activities helped students connect with the theme of joy , not just by
understanding it ,but feeling it and expressing it and creating it together.
