Activities Overview: The session primarily centered on teaching the Tibetan children about the significance of the creative process through storytelling, importance of morality and engaging activities. The activities: they were given the name of an animal on a folded piece of paper and had to find their partner or the same animal by acting it out. The second activity focused on teamwork, where one person was blindfolded and had to locate an object based on the directions of another person who could speak but not see. The person giving the directions could only communicate through the actions of a third person who could see everything but couldn’t speak.
Methodology
We started the session with a simple introduction and followed by storytelling on the book called “གྲོགས་པོ་གསུམ།”. After the end of the storytelling, we did two different activities described above in Activities Program Update.
Lessons learned or problems faced if any during the implementation of the Activities:
We learned that more children make the activities more interesting and satisfactory.
Suggestions for Future Improvement:
The number of students affects the quality of a session therefore more students would be encouraged and try to keep on creating innovative activities.
