Specific Activity:

1. Ice breaking activity named “Pass the bear” who holds the bear had to introduce their
name and their age.
2. Storytelling of the book “The Paper Bag Princess”
3. “Spread your love” students have to write one good behavior of someone they love.

Key Objective: To give them the knowledge about importance of kindness, love and
compassion.

Activities Overview:

• A small Introduction for the kids about our organization after that we started an icebreaking activity called “Pass the Bear”, where all students had to introduce their name and age while holding the bear.
• The session followed with a storytelling of the book called “The Paper Bag Princess” and the moral of the story is that never judge a person because of their outer appearance. Importance of kindness, love, compassion.
• At last, all students wrote one name of person they love and one good behavior of that person on the sticker paper and a big heart drawn on blackboard, where all the stickers were sticked on it.

Methodology

• Firstly, an icebreaking activity was conducted and it help students to engage in the
session while also giving them opportunities to speak up.
• Children love storytelling, games, activities, while their minds are sharp and very
adaptive so according to the theme “love” we arranged an activity “spread your love”
where all students have to write a person’s name who they love and a good behavior
about them.

Lessons Learned or Challenges Encountered:

Through this program, I learned that becoming a teacher is not easy at all, especially when you are handling children but having a successful session I’ve experienced a heart full of satisfaction and immense gratitude towards the teacher.
