Mrs. Tenzin Choezin

Tenzin Choezin has over 8 years’ experience in the field of training, counselling and administration. She has worked with the Central Tibetan Administration as the Head Consultant for Tibetan Career Centre and has also served in the non-governmental sector as the project officer of Central Tibetan Women’s Association. She is currently a member of the 17th Tibetan Parliament in Exile, Central Tibetan Administration.

Choezin has a Master’s in English literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University and is an alumnus of ‘Women’s leadership for community development’ program at the Coady institute, Canada. She is also a certified trainer for gender, entrepreneurship development, leadership development and holds expertise in giving training methodology to budding trainers. Project management, team building and soft skill development are also part of her portfolio.

Over 5000 people across schools, vocational institutes and organizations in Tibetan settlements in India have received her training and counselling services.

Mr. Penpa
Senior Project Officer

Penpa has a Master’s in Commerce specializing in human resource management from M.S University of Baroda, Gujarat. He has earlier served the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) in various capacities of counselling and secretarial responsibilities. He has over 7 years’ experience in the field of accounting and secretarial practices. He was recently promoted to the post of senior project officer and has been facilitating training workshops.

Ms. Lekyi Wangmo
Intern

Lekyi Wangmo has a Master’s in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. She has completed a nine-month internship program at the Department of Information and International Relations, Central Tibetan Administration.

During her stint at the concerned Department, she has managed the Tibetan political prisoner’s database, allowing her to contribute and collaborate on advocacy efforts and human rights projects with diverse teams.

Currently, she has been selected for the three-month internship program at ANEC and will be interning from October – December 2023
