Mrs. Tenzin Choezin

Tenzin Choezin has over 8 years’ experience in the field of training, counselling and administration. She has worked with the Central Tibetan Administration as the Head Consultant for Tibetan Career Centre and has also served in the non-governmental sector as the project officer of Central Tibetan Women’s Association.

Choezin has a Master’s in English literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University and is an alumnus of ‘Women’s leadership for community development’ program at the Coady institute, Canada. She is also a certified trainer for gender, entrepreneurship development, leadership development and holds expertise in giving training methodology to budding trainers. Project management, team building and soft skill development are also part of her portfolio.

Over 4000 people across schools, vocational institutes and organizations in Tibetan settlements in India have received her training and counselling services.

Mr. Penpa
Senior Project Officer

Penpa has a Master’s in Commerce specializing in human resource management from M.S University of Baroda, Gujarat. He has earlier served the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) in various capacities of counselling and secretarial responsibilities. He has over 7 years’ experience in the field of accounting and secretarial practices. He was recently promoted to the post of senior project officer and has been facilitating training workshops.

Ms. Dolma Lhamo

Dolma Lhamo did her undergraduate degree of B.Sc (Hons.) Zoology from Hans Raj College, Delhi University. She was Vice President and President of different societies at Hans Raj College. She completed ‘The fundamental of digital marketing’ course offered by Google digital workshop and was featured in Oxford Economics representing UT Ladakh for ‘Creating for India’ campaign by YouTube India.

She worked as a digital creator for the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) under the Ministry of Culture, India. She has joined as the Project Officer at ANEC.

Ms. Tenzin Dadon
Project consultant (Project basis)

Tenzin Dadon has a master’s degree in Political Science from Lovely Professional University and has studied Peace and Conflict Resolution. She has participated in the Green Schools Programme, organized by the New Delhi based ‘Environment Education Unit of the Centre for Science and Environment’ and has taken part in practical sessions on auditing natural resources.

Dadon has also worked for ‘my climate management committee of Switzerland’, as a participant in the International Climate Education Project. She is currently a part time project consultant of ANEC.

Mr. Jigme Choedak
Project Consultant (Project basis)

Jigme Choedak is a self taught artist, illustrator and a cartoonist based in Dharamsala. He did his schooling from the Tibetan Children’s Village based in Northern India. Jigme has worked as project consultant for various organizations and individuals including Active Nonviolence Education Center (ANEC), Drokmo (drokmo.in), Tibetan Centre For Human Rights and Democracy (TCHRD) and etc.

He partnered with a Tibetan led start-up streetwear brand named “Hypeskool” as a graphic artist. He is also the founder of the Art studio named Genyik Studio (@genyik.studio) based in Dharamshala. His works are driven by deep passion for and observation of the nuances within Tibetan culture and he aspires to to bring new creative voices and support them through this platform. Jigme Choedak is currently working as a part time project consultant of ANEC and has already illustrated the promo videos of ANEC in both Tibetan & English language.

Ms. Tsering Choekyi
Intern

Tsering Choekyi did her Senior Secondary School from Tibetan Childrens Village Suja and has pursued diploma course in secretarial practice from Tibetan Private Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Selekui. She has recently completed 6-month internship program at Tibetan Career Centre (TCC), A unit of Youth Empowerment Support, Department of Home, CTA.

Currently she has been selected for the three month internship program at ANEC and will be interning from April – June 2023.
