Activities Program Update
The session primarily focused on introducing Tibetan children to the creative process, abstract art, and friendship through storytelling and hands-on activities. The session was conducted as part of the Seeds of Awareness Program in collaboration with Manjushri Educational Service.
Introduction to the Seeds of Awareness Program
The program, in partnership with the Manjushri Educational Service, conducted an engaging session that featured storytelling from the book ཁྲུང་ཁྲུང་སྐེ་ནག། (“The Black-necked Crane”) and interactive activities aimed at fostering awareness about creativity, abstract art, and friendship.
Methodology
The session commenced with a brief self-introduction, followed by an interactive storytelling session based on the book ཁྲུང་ཁྲུང་སྐེ་ནག།. The storytelling segment was followed by an engaging origami activity, where participants learned to create and colouring an origami Black-necked Crane, reinforcing the session’s themes.
